Job Overview:
- The Telematics Success Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation, management, and optimization of telematics systems across fleet and other Asset types within the business.
- This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and customer service acumen to maximize the efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness of Telematics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Telematics System Implementation:
- Oversee the installation and integration of telematics hardware and software across the fleet & All Asset types.
- Collaborate with Technology and operations teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Telematics processes and systems across all MAX Locations
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze telematics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on fleet performance metrics, including fuel consumption, State of Charge, Uptime Availability, route efficiency, and driver behavior.
Performance Monitoring:
- Continuously monitor telematics data to ensure optimal Asset performance.
- Identify and address any issues or anomalies in real-time.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to drivers and fleet managers on the use of telematics systems.
- Develop and maintain user manuals, training materials, and best practice guides.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for telematics vendors and service providers.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of telematics initiatives with broader business goals.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to telematics and fleet operations.
- Promote a culture of safety through the use of telematics data to improve driver behavior and reduce accidents.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the functionality and utilization of telematics systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the fleet at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fleet management, telematics, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in telematics software and tools.
- Knowledge of fleet safety and compliance standards.
