Who is a digital marketer?

Digital marketing is the promotion of a brand or business online to attract customers using digital communications and channels like the Internet or social media. It is any form of marketing that involves the use of electronic devices to support a customer’s journey.

It is also known as online marketing and can take any of these forms:

  • Develop marketing strategies that align with the organization's business goals • Manage and execute campaigns across various digital channels, including email, social media, search engines, and display advertising

  2. Content Creation and Marketing: Proficiency in creating various types of content, including blog posts, social media updates, videos, infographics, and more. Understanding how to tailor content to different platforms and audiences is crucial.

  3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and staying up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes.

  4. Social Media Management: Expertise in managing social media platforms, including content planning, scheduling, engagement, and paid advertising. Understanding the nuances of different social media channels is important.
